Introducing Small Friend Zavier The Camo Zebra

Young Zavier

As a teenager, small friend Zavier Camo Zebra believed that his parents and their lives in black-and-white stripes were boring. As required by the Laws Governing Parents of Teenagers, his folks fretted about his future and lost sleep for several years. Fortunately, Zavier made it to adulthood with no run-ins with the law so that his future in law enforcement and undercover work was not hindered by youthful indiscretion.

New skills and a great career

After a few years as Ranger and Wrangler of Wild Horses in the Desert Southwest, he joined a Famous (but-low-key) Intelligence and Information Management Company, where he now does anti-industrial espionage work. His unique skills allow him to infiltrate a variety of corporate settings. This portrait documents the disguise he wore when working undercover at Big Rock Candy Mountain, where he successfully apprehended a Dreadful, Deceitful Confectionery Bandit.

Candy secrets

For an insightful and entertaining view of the high stakes industrial secrets in the candy business, look no further than Joel Glenn Brenner's The Emperors of Chocolate: Inside the Secret World of Hershey and Mars. The candy business ranks high in the hierarchy of secrets, a few notches below national security and far above pharmaceuticals. Drug developers and manufacturers want to patent their products for the longest time possible. According to Brenner, candy makers rarely secure patents because patents expire and move into the public domain.

Origins

Zavier's original portrait is on  9x4" 140# Arches hot press paper. If you are interested in prints from imagekind.com, he will look best on Ultra-Smooth Fine Art paper.
