Introducing small friend Daryl Dragon
Daryl Dragon
Daryl Dragon is a distant and very tiny cousin of small friend Darren Dragon (32-feet long). Happily for Daryl, he is part of the Pocket Sized Dragon (PSD) Family which has been long overlooked by scholars and scientists.
Pocket-Sized Dragons
Among dragons, size is relative, and “pocket-sized” covers dragons measuring between 3 and 10 feet long. Known for infinite patience and ability to sit still for decades at a time, PSDs are often mistaken for gargoyles on very old buildings. Not surprisingly, they have been tarred with the brush of evil from dragon myth, legends, and movies, and they are eager to repair their reputation. With a deep desire to be known as kind, useful, and relevant, their scientific collaborations are innovative. A small group is working with electrical engineers to harness their very hot breath for inexpensive and imaginative waste-to-energy projects. They hope to have worked out the technical issues by 2015. Others are working with chemists to try to reverse-engineer that same hot breath into a cool tool for firefighting.
Origins
Daryl Dragon was painted on 140# Arches paper.
